The Friends of The Warner Library will host a concert featuring Jazz singer Pamela Knowles.
Pamela is an international Jazz singer, experienced voice teacher, and movement therapist. The power that Pamela’s singing has to move an audience owes a lot to the acting experience that shaped her career. Pamela trained at the American Conservatory Theatre and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
In 2019, Pamela released her album Thirteen Kinds of Desire, a collaboration with Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Yusef Komunyakaa.
Joining Pamela are musicians Art Hirahara on piano, Noriko Ueda on upright bass, and Tim Horner on drums.
Free and open to all!
