Join us for a special lecture by Ms. Barbara Fischer hosted by the Little Gardens of Tarrytown.

Barbara Fischer's presentation will focus on a discussion of native plants, a history of native plant gardens, why to garden with them, a brief discussion of pollinators, native plant “do’s” and challenges, what to plant and brief thoughts on the history of Little Gardens as well as future garden thought.

Ms. Fischer is a long-time member of the Steering Committee of The Native Plant Center.  She co-founded Go Native U at Westchester Community College.

The lecture is part of the centennial celebration of the Club, which was founded on April 24, 1924.  The finale will be the lighting of the Governor Mario M. Cuomo (Tappan Zee) Bridge in colors reminiscent of the Club’s Logo.
