Book Sale

The Friends of Warner Library will be holding their annual booksale the weekend of October 21st and 22nd. Please stop by to view the exciting selection of books, DVDs and CDs.

Get Ready for Harvest and Halloween with fun bilingual stories and songs for all ages!  Come in costume if you like.

Meet and great author Frances Cha, author of The Goblin Twins. Goblin Twins is the perfect ghoulish tale for Halloween. There will be an interactive reading and a goblin puppet craft activity.

This creative writing workshop is being offered by Sydney, a senior at SHHS: Calling all writers in 4th through 7th grade! Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey through the magical world of words and imagination?

Therapy dog Buddy will visit the library to meet you and listen to your stories! Please sign up for a turn to read to Buddy; this program is for readers 5 years and older.

Meet the animals: reptiles, birds, arachnids, and mammals, oh my! Check out these cool and creepy creatures at the library. This program is presented by Teatown and Funded by the Friends of the Library. 

Interested in Chess?

The Warner Library Chess Club meets every Thursday from 6:00 to 8:30 PM.

Players of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate.

The monthly board meeting is open to the public. Public comment is limited by the library's Public Comment Policy.

Barbara Dullaghan will discuss her first novel, Secrets in the Hollow: A Sleepy Hollow Novel, which follows the turbulent story of Carrie Peters, a 40-year-old woman who returns to her hometown of Sleep Hollow after her parents die.

We are offering this Zoom presentation to help families understand how the lingering effects from the pandemic have changed the college admissions landscape and how it affects Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen.

This 3-week beginner class will cover basic ukulele skills, including strumming, chords, and finger picking.  You should be able to attend all 3 sessions. Class registration is required.
