This creative writing workshop is being offered by Sydney, a senior at SHHS: Calling all writers in 4th through 7th grade! Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey through the magical world of words and imagination? Join us for a creative writing workshop, where your writing will soar to new heights, and your stories will come to life like never before!
Workshop highlights:
1. Diverse genres: We will explore a wide range of genres, from enchanting poetry to thrilling fiction, from heartfelt personal narratives to comedic plays. This workshop has something for every young writer.
2. Community of writers: Much of writing is done alone, but here, you will have the opportunity to connect with others with the same passion as you.
3. Peer feedback: You will have the chance to share your work with fellow writers and give and receive thoughtful feedback. Together, we will refine your writing skills and create a supportive environment where everyone is heard.
4. Anthology: By the end of the workshop, we will compile your favorite works into a beautiful group anthology, a book with your and your fellow writers' very own pieces!
